Privacy policy

Wolforia is run by [Company name] (“we”, “us”). You can reach us about anything in this policy at [contact email].

Your account. Your email address and password. The password is handled by our sign-in provider and is never stored in a form anyone can read.

What you put in and make. Your chats and the replies in them, files and photos you attach, pictures you make, documents you save, projects and their reference documents, the instructions you save about how you like answers, and any past chats you import.

Services you connect. When you connect another service, we keep the sign-in or key that service gives us so Wolforia can act for you there. It is encrypted before it is stored.

How much you use. For each reply, picture or search: which assistant or service was used, when, and how much of your allowance it used. This is how your credits are counted.

Payments. Paid plans are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we keep a reference to your Stripe customer record and your plan.

Cookies. Only what Wolforia needs to work: cookies that keep you signed in, and one that remembers your time zone so dates are shown correctly. No advertising cookies, no tracking across other sites, and no analytics tools.

• To run Wolforia: keep your chats, send your messages to the assistant you choose and show you its reply.
• To learn how you like to be helped. An assistant reads your recent messages to notice things you ask for again and again. It may add a note to your instructions, always labelled with the reason, or ask you first. You can edit or remove any note.
• To suggest which assistant suits a task when you ask for help choosing.
• To count your credits, take payment for paid plans, and keep the service secure.

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not share it for advertising.
• We do not use your chats or files to train AI models.

Only the companies needed to run Wolforia, for that purpose only:

• Vercel hosts Wolforia, and its AI Gateway passes each message to the assistant you chose.
• The maker of the assistant you choose, for example Anthropic or OpenAI, receives the conversation so it can write the reply. Their own terms govern how they handle it.
• Perplexity receives the words being searched for when Search or Deep research is on.
• Supabase stores your account, chats and files.
• Stripe handles payments for paid plans.
• Services you connect. When an assistant uses one of them for you, that service receives what the action needs. Anything that creates, changes, sends or deletes something waits for your yes first.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of people or of the service.

Everything is kept while your account is open. A chat you delete goes to Trash, where you can put it back for 30 days; after that it is removed for good, along with the files attached to it.

To close your account, email [contact email]. We delete your account and everything in it within 30 days. Stripe keeps payment records for as long as the law requires.

Everything travels over encrypted connections. Sign-ins and keys for services you connect are encrypted before they are stored, files are kept in private storage that only your account can reach, and each person's data is walled off from everyone else's. No system is perfectly secure, so we also keep what we hold to what the service needs.

You can see, edit and delete your chats, files, pictures and instructions in the app at any time, and disconnect any service. You can also ask us, at [contact email], for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete it.

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used and shared, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in California law. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. We answer requests within 45 days, and may need to confirm it is you first.

Wolforia is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We are based in the United States. Our providers may handle your information in the United States and other countries where they operate.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
